Another word you should put in there is ‘cottage,’ which is a synonym for cabin.
Similarly, for oceanfront properties, use keywords like “beach house rental” or “beachfront Airbnb,” and avoid vague terms like “oasis” or “getaway” that aren’t frequently searched. Switch it up and use multiple variations of the keyword throughout the title and description of your listing. So, add something like ‘beach house on the ocean,’ which is a phrase people use when they search for properties. Remember to do so in a natural way, rather than forcing it.
Optimizing your listing with specific phrases helps attract more potential guests. The screenshot below from my keyword research tool shows the major differences in traffic between two related keywords. Words matter!
Write out nearby sights, attractions, and events in the description
Is your property near any popular sights and attractions? How about any university campuses, national parks, or special events? Be sure to mention them in your title and description.
For example, if your property is near Yellowstone National Park, use the phrase “Yellowstone cabin rentals,” which gets 5,400 searches per month (see my keyword research tool below). Including location-specific keywords like this helps more people discover your listing and increases its visibility in search results.
Engage future guests with descriptive, action-packed amenities
When describing your amenities, go beyond basic lists and make them engaging. Instead of just stating “pool” or “hot tub,” use action-oriented phrases like “Relax in the hot tub after a day of exploring” or “Enjoy Cape Cod at its best with a swim in your private pool.”
In addition, phrases like “Airbnb cabin with hot tub” are frequently searched, so include them naturally. The more engaging and specific your description, the longer guests will stay on your listing, which helps improve its visibility in Airbnb search results.

Many top-performing Airbnbs have their own websites. Not only does this give you a valuable backlink to your Airbnb listing, but it also serves as a safety net. If Airbnb’s algorithm changes or your account gets hacked, having your own site ensures your property is still visible to potential guests. Think of it as insurance for your listing.
I don’t care if your property goes for $100/night or $1,000/night, buying a website and hosting it is an absolute must in 2025. Now is the time to get ahead and pay $1.99 per month for a cheap website domain.
You don’t need to spend much—keep it simple. A budget hosting service like Bluehost offers everything you need. Even if you’re not ready to build the full site now, securing your domain ensures you own the name of your property. Better to be prepared than to regret it later!

In addition to the tips above, creating your own website will give you some amazing opportunities down the line. When your property gains more popularity, you could have people purchase their stay directly through your site rather than on Airbnb. That way, everyone can avoid those exorbitant Airbnb service fees. A win win for sure!

It never hurts reaching out to a blogger or influencer – the worst they can say is no. But more likely than not, each of you will have a lot to gain from this partnership.

Celebrity influencers (over 100k followers) typically charge significant fees, often in the thousands, so they may not be cost-effective unless you have a large marketing budget.
