The Avenue of the Giants is 15 minutes away, and the property sits 1.5 miles off Highway 101, close to Garberville and Richardson Grove. You also get a full kitchen, air conditioning, a bathtub, and a washer and dryer in the unit.
The fenced front deck and backyard are my favorite part of this place, with a fire pit for evenings and enough privacy that guests report watching deer in the neighboring yard. Leaving the hobbit door open in the morning fills the house with light and cool air, which is a nice trick you don't get in an ordinary rental. Sage has hosted here for seven years as a Superhost and answers messages within the hour.
Whiskey Row sits two blocks away, putting shops, restaurants, and bars within a short walk of the front porch.
