The home sleeps eight across three bedrooms and a sleeper sofa, and the design details are top-notch. You’ll have a fire pit, grill, outdoor dining area, and a fully stocked kitchen (yes, there’s a waffle maker). It’s peaceful, private, and perfect for small groups or families.
When you’re ready to get out and explore, I recommend brunch at Gailey’s Breakfast Cafe or grabbing coffee from Kingdom Coffee, both downtown. For nature time, head to Sequiota Park for trails and caves or take a short drive to Fellows Lake for kayaking and fishing.

I couldn’t make a list of epic Airbnbs without including Villa Kuro in Joshua Tree. This is one of those stays that people talk about long after the trip is over.

The home is a mix of Japanese wabi-sabi style and California cool. It sleeps six, with two king bedrooms and extra floor mats if needed. You’ll have a private courtyard, an outdoor shower, a saltwater hot tub, and a fire pit for sunset views. Stay three nights or more, and a private chef will cook for you one night. You just cover the groceries.
Joshua Tree National Park is about a 10-minute drive. Don’t miss the Mojave Land Trust trail, just five minutes from the house. For food, grab coffee at Joshua Tree Coffee Company or head to Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown for barbecue and live music. Glass houses are definitely one of my favorite Airbnb categories that I expect will continue to take off in 2026.

While you’re here, stop by Do Your Thing Coffee for toast and cold brew or check out the exhibits at the Chinati Foundation. For dinner, Para Llevar has the best wood-fired pizza in town.

This is hands-down one of the coolest Airbnbs in the Joshua Tree area. It’s the only vacation rental in the country with a fully automated observatory that guests can control themselves. No astronomy degree needed. Just tap the touchscreen and the telescope does the rest!
The house itself sleeps eight and comes with two game rooms, a hot tub, and an outdoor deck perfect for stargazing (or grilling burgers between telescope sessions). It’s great for families, friend groups, or anyone who loves space.
When you’re ready to explore, check out Pioneertown or grab brunch at Frontier Café in Yucca Valley. For a full day out, Joshua Tree National Park is only 20 minutes from the house. I’d also recommend the Integratron Sound Bath if you’re into something cosmic but relaxing!
