If you’re road-tripping between Zion and Bryce Canyon, this is one stop you don’t want to miss! This treehouse is one of the most creative stays in Southern Utah. This 360-square-foot space manages to pack in a full kitchen, cozy loft, soaking tub, hot tub, and even an office nook if you need to log on. There’s also a fire pit with skewers ready for marshmallows! The Ark is adults-only, so it’s ideal for couples or friends looking for a peaceful basecamp near the parks.

Zion National Park is about a 30-minute drive. I recommend grabbing a bite at Stage Coach Grille in La Verkin on the way. It’s a local favorite for hearty post-hike meals.

If you’re planning a Zion trip but want something quieter than the main park entrance, this cabin is a great find! It’s less than a mile from the east gate, so you get peaceful mornings and shorter lines to the trails.

At just 400 square feet, the space is cozy but surprisingly comfortable. You’ll have a queen bed, full bathroom, heat and AC, plus a deck to soak up the mountain air. There’s no TV here. It’s just you, the views, and maybe a bison burger from Zion Mountain Ranch down the road. I recommend checking the menu first since it changes often.

You’re just 10 minutes from Canyon Road, where I always stop at The Teahouse for brunch before strolling through the galleries. For dinner, Geronimo is a splurge but absolutely worth it.

If you’re visiting in winter, ask about guest discounts at Ski Santa Fe. The slopes are just 45 minutes away in the mountains!
