Hey there! I’m Jon and I help people unlock their true selves. I am not your typical transformational life coach. I don’t have any certifications or licenses, and I’m not here to sell you courses or long-term coaching commitments. My goal is to help as many people as possible as quickly as possible…to heal, breakthrough, and transform.
I am a world traveler who has visited more than 45 countries. In doing so, I’ve attended some of the most challenging mindset and wellness retreats in the world, including a Wim Hof retreat in Iceland, an advanced meditation retreat led by Dr. Joe Dispenza, and mindset and emotional-based retreats in Mexico and Costa Rica. During my own inner journey, I have hired top-notch coaches, including business and life coaches, breathwork and meditation coaches, therapists and personal trainers, and more. In addition, I’ve read countless self-help books and listened to many personal development podcasts. If I haven’t directly experienced what you’re going through, I probably know about it. The human experience is universal, after all.
As a transformation coach, I will leverage my past experiences and wisdom to help you get from where you are now to where you want to be…as quickly and as painlessly as possible. Below is my approach on transformational coaching.
Transformative Life Coach: My Method
My approach to transformation coaching is simple: dig deep, identify the root cause of whatever is holding you back, and resolve it. I won’t burden you with theoretical concepts, personality tests, and other surface-level exercises. I won’t sell you into any courses or long-term coaching commitments. And I certainly won’t leave you with cliffhangers at the end of the session that keep you returning for more. In our time together, I’ll give you my best – and I will go as deep as you’re willing to go. I’m here to help you achieve major breakthroughs from day 1 – giving you tangible takeaways that you can implement in your life right away. If I do my job correctly, you won’t need to keep coming back.
Unlike many other transformational coaches out there, this isn’t my main income stream. I have another job, which requires substantial travel and other commitments. As such, I have an incentive to problem-solve quickly and efficiently to get you feeling better and in alignment with your purpose and vision of the future. This isn’t going to be like therapy sessions, where we keep exploring the same stuff over and over again. The quicker I can help you achieve personal freedom and transformation, the quicker I can help someone else. Time on Earth is limited, and while patience is absolutely a virtue, I want to help the world heal now. The world needs healing more than ever, and I want to do my part to help.
Structure of Transformational Coaching Sessions: How it Works
I am based in Boston, Massachusetts, so I am able to do in-person coaching sessions as well as Zoom meetings. If you are local to the Greater Boston Area, note that I offer (and encourage) appointments outside in nature. In my experience, I’ve found that office environments aren’t natural and people are very reluctant to go deep there. I don’t want to sit across from you at a table anymore than you do. I’d rather go hiking or sit down somewhere in nature, which has tremendous healing qualities in its own right.
During each transformative coaching session, I may suggest some sort of physical exercise, breathwork, or meditation to get the ball rolling and bring up whatever needs to come up. At the end of the day, you are your own best friend, doctor, and therapist. I am not a miracle worker; my job is to merely help you help yourself. Everything you’ll ever need is already inside of you. You don’t need me, but I will make your life easier by asking the right questions and pointing you in the right direction.
Each session is two hours long. I go over that allotted time when clients are on the verge of a breakthrough. While I’d love to limit these meetings to an hour, the reality is that it takes longer to dig deep. The resolution to your greatest challenges cannot be found at the tip of the iceberg.
What you can expect to take away with you after a transformative life coaching session
Based on everything I know about personal growth/development, there are four main areas that affect transformation: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. As humans, we can go “far in life” by focusing on just a couple of these elements. However, in the long term, you’ll want to find balance in all of them. True happiness and freedom depend on it.
After every session, you will leave with a change in perspective – equipped with new habits, routines and rituals, book recommendations, and other tangible takeaways. I may also make recommendations to find more specialized help. For example, a chiropractor or breathwork coach to fix postural issues and dysfunctional breathing patterns. I may also recommend alternative practices like cold immersion, meditation, yoga, barefoot grounding, and more – providing you with apps and websites to use, accounts to follow on social media, and more. My transformative coaching methodology helps me identify the root cause so you know what to focus on next.
One caveat on how transformation coaching works…
While I’d love to help you implement all of the things, the reality is that you (and only you) are the pilot of your own life. Nobody can make you to do anything; it all needs to come from you. My job is to help you find clarity and a path forward in your own healing or personal transformation journey. I hope (and expect) that you will act on the insights from our sessions.
As such, I recommend that you carve out time after your session to reflect. This can include journaling, pondering what to do next, and creating an action plan. I don’t recommend scheduling anything else right after our 1-1 sessions. In transformation life coaching, the worst thing that can happen is you leaving the session all passionate and inspired, only to lose it moments later when another commitment takes over your awareness. After learning something super profound, you may feel like everything is better and you can take your foot off the pedal. Don’t let the dopamine deceive you. Keep going!
How much are transformation coaching sessions?
The price for my transformation coaching is $500 for 2 hours. Money-back guarantee. If you leave the first session without any ah-ha moments or otherwise any valuable takeaways, you are entitled to a full refund.
Just note that the price gives each of us skin in the game. If it was cheap, you or I wouldn’t value it. I’ve spent over $100k on my own personal development in the past year alone. I have the ability to condense much of what I’ve learned into a two-hour session…that’s where the true value lies. In other words, I can save you a heck of a lot of time (and hassle) by sifting through what works and what doesn’t.
If there are any financial constraints that would make it challenging for you to pay the full amount, let me know and we can discuss.
If you are interested in working with me as your transformation coach, feel free to shoot me an email at jon.miksis@gmail.com and introduce yourself. Please share some details about what you’re looking to get out of this coaching arrangement! From there, we can hop on a 20-minute discovery call to discuss what you’re looking for in a transformative coach and to see if we’re a fit.
Wishing you lots of love and happiness. The journey ahead is an exciting one, even if it appears scary…fall in love with the process! -Jon
