#1 tip for finding cheap flights from Stockholm

Looking for cheap places to fly from Stockholm? Before jumping into all the coolest cities and airports to fly into, I want to share a quick tip to save money on airfare.

For the past 3 years, I’ve used Scott’s Cheap Flights (now called Going) to find cheap flight deals. It’s free and super easy to use. All you have to do is enter in your home airport (i.e. ARN, NYO, and BMA) and where you want to go, and they’ll send you mistake fares and other ridiculously cheap flight deals.

In 2022 alone, I saved thousands of dollars thanks to their email alerts. This includes most recently, a $399 roundtrip fare from Boston to Stockholm. On average, I save about $350 roundtrip on selected flight routes. So, I’m a huge fan and couldn’t recommend them more!

If you’re a frequent flier, consider getting their premium version. It costs $49 per year, but it will easily save you hundreds (or thousands) of dollars if you fly just 1-2 times. I recommend signing up for the free trial (which you can cancel at any time) to test it out for yourself. And if you like it, use my coupon code JON20 to save 20%!

Other considerations when finding cheap places to fly from Stockholm

To find the cheapest places to fly from Stockholm, I focused on major airports in Europe, Asia, and North America. Sure, you can occasionally find flight deals to other continents. However, more often than not, these destinations will have the cheapest fares and are the most accessible from Stockholm.

Note that flight prices from Stockholm can vary immensely throughout the year. For example, a flight to the Canary Islands might cost more in the winter than the summer. If you’re looking to visit Asia, you’re better off visiting during the off-season, which is typically between Jan-April. Though the price of a roundtrip fare may look different, the cheapest destinations from Stockholm should remain the same, regardless of when you’re flying.

For the purposes of this article, I removed nearby destinations from this list. This includes cities throughout Sweden, which have cheap flight deals from Stockholm but are within a short flight or driving distance. Instead, I focused on cheap flights from ARN to anywhere around the world.

From domestic to international flights, here are the 13 cheapest places to fly from Stockholm in 2023.

Looking to save BIG on airfare? I recommend signing up for Dollar Flight Club. Thanks to DFC, I saved $5,000+ on travel in 2023…so I couldn’t recommend it more!
