Breakfast at Tiffany House sits right on Yellow Birch Lake in Eagle River, with a dock out back and downtown shops a short stroll from the front door. Three bedrooms have queen beds and the fourth has two twin-over-full bunks, while two living room sectionals and a pair of queen air mattresses stretch the sleeping space to 16. The full kitchen has a dining table and island seating, and pops of Tiffany Blue throughout nod to the Truman Capote novel behind the theme.
Out back, the lakefront yard has patio furniture and a gas grill next to a large fire pit, with firewood included. Christine supplies two adult kayaks, a kids’ kayak, two inflatable paddle boards, and life jackets, and the house sits inside the slow no-wake section, which makes for easy paddling right off the dock. I’d happily end every October day around that fire pit with a Screwdriver made from the welcome basket, a fun tribute to Capote’s favorite cocktail.
Riverview Park is steps away, and downtown Eagle River restaurants are within walking distance. Hop in a boat and the main part of Yellow Birch Lake and the rest of the Chain of Lakes are five minutes away, and there’s dock space and trailer parking if you’re bringing your own boat. Plan around mid-October, when the dock comes out and the kayaks and paddle boards are stored for the season, and note there are Ring doorbell cameras on both entrances.

The upstairs loft bedroom has a queen bed and a smart TV down a hallway for privacy, while the downstairs bedroom pairs a full bed with its own pinball machine. The full kitchen has an electric range and a Keurig, with a dining table for four, and the whole place feels brand new while keeping its old A-frame charm.
The backyard faces the woods, with a large private hot tub and a smokeless fire pit with extendable s’more sticks for roasting. The private arcade has Star Wars Pinball, X-Men, Terminator 2, and Space Invaders, and you’ll also find a giant chess board, cornhole boards, a hammock, and a stack of board games and puzzles. I’d keep watch at the back window with my morning coffee, since the hosts have spotted a bald eagle and a herd of deer from that exact spot.

The primary bedroom and second bedroom each have a queen bed, and the third is a bunk room with two twin-over-full bunks and trundles that sleeps eight. The living area has a wood-burning fireplace, and the fully equipped kitchen includes a blender, a full knife set, and a six-person dining table.
The bay comes right up to the backyard, and the deck has a hot tub facing the water for sunset soaks. Two kayaks are included, and the hosts have arranged for guests to use the neighbor’s launch to get them in and out. My plan here would be an evening in the hot tub followed by a lakeside fire, with local firewood provided and a gas grill nearby for dinner.
Bay Shore County Park is 10 minutes north and has a swimming beach, which helps since high water levels mean there’s no sand beach at the property.
