I’ve spent way too many hours hunting for flight deals from Orlando International, and I’m excited to share what I’ve found. After countless searches (and maybe a few too many alerts set on my phone), I’ve uncovered some seriously awesome routes that won’t destroy your savings. Last month, I scored a ticket to Cartagena for less than what I spent on my Disney annual pass and spent my mornings watching the sunrise from the old city walls.

Some of the best places to fly from Orlando are total steals if you know when to book. From Mexico City, where I lost track of time exploring the incredible food scene in Roma Norte, to quick jaunts down to Puerto Rico, these 13 destinations prove you don’t need to empty your wallet for an amazing adventure. Trust me, your bank account will thank you later.

#1 tip for finding cheap flights from Orlando

Looking for cheap places to fly from Orlando? Before jumping into all the coolest cities and airports to fly into, I want to share a quick tip to save money on airfare.

Before you book anything, don’t miss these deals 👇

For the past 5 years, I’ve used Scott’s Cheap Flights (now called Going) to find cheap flight deals. It’s free and super easy to use. All you have to do is enter in your home airport (i.e. MCO or SFB) and where you want to go, and they’ll send you mistake fares and other ridiculously cheap flight deals.

In 2024 alone, I saved thousands of dollars thanks to their email alerts. This includes most recently, a $225 roundtrip fare from Miami to London. On average, I save about $300 roundtrip on selected flight routes. So, I’m a huge fan and couldn’t recommend them more!

If you’re a frequent flier, consider getting their premium version. It costs $49 per year, but it will easily save you hundreds (or thousands) of dollars if you fly just 1-2 times. I recommend signing up for the free trial (which you can cancel at any time) to test it out for yourself. And if you like it, use my coupon code JON20 to save 20%!
