Thanks to BKK’s status as a major Southeast Asia hub, international carriers offer competitive pricing and frequent deals.
Once you land, you’re about 45 minutes from central Bangkok. You can hit spots like the Grand Palace, Chatuchak Market, or hop on a canal boat for a unique city view. BKK also makes it easy to connect to Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Cambodia with dozens of daily domestic and regional flights.

The airport sits about 30 minutes from Bangkok’s best attractions, including the Grand Palace and weekend markets. Because it’s a hub for budget airlines, DMK makes it easy to explore more of Thailand without splurging on domestic flights.
If you’re up for adventure, consider landing at DMK and taking overnight trains to places like Chiang Mai or Surat Thani. You’ll save money on transport and skip the cost of one night’s accommodation.
